Galveston RoundTable of Foundations

Strategically advised and supported a coalition of philanthropic foundation trustees and staff that was founded more than 20 years ago to share information on community needs and opportunities, share educational opportunities, and engage collectively for the benefit of Galveston. Identified topic areas, experts, and paths forward to crowd in additional resourcing.

Rainwater Charitable Foundation

Produced a nationwide landscape analysis and implementation guidance on adaptive reuse to convert traditional K12 school buildings into community-based resources including housing, early learning centers, health clinics, community centers, and other uses.

StriveTogether

Produced Action Memo for how to braid remaining recovery funding, one-time formula funding, federal formula funding, and targeted and statute required federal competitive funding.

Moody Early Childhood Center

Identified of public funding streams accessible to place-based local education agencies and institutions of higher education.

Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation

Defined path forward for replication and expansion of a highly effective early learning center. Included presentations to school board committees and general meetings as well as budget development and impact scenarios.

Build Galveston

Defined strategy, identified braiding potential of public funding, and next steps for generating sustainable and attainable housing for educators.
